Not every idea survives contact with a phone case. The print area is a tall, narrow rectangle with camera cutouts at the top, so the designs below are the ones that consistently look good on the finished case.
A pet photo
The most reliably popular gift on this list. A close portrait works better than a full-body shot — the case is small, and a dog standing in a field becomes a dog-shaped speck. Get the face filling most of the frame, in daylight, and the print will be sharp.
A couple photo
Anniversaries, Valentine's Day, and first-year gifts. A candid shot beats a posed one. If you add a date, keep it short — “14.02.2021” reads better on a case than a full sentence.

How to pick a photo that prints sharply
This is where most disappointing results come from, and it is entirely avoidable. The print area is 750 × 1590 pixels at 300 dpi, which is roughly the size of a passport photo blown up — so the file has to carry real detail.
- Send the original, not a screenshot. A photo saved from a chat app has already been compressed once. Screenshots of photos are compressed twice and will look soft.
- Daylight beats indoor light. Phone cameras add noise in dim rooms, and noise that is invisible on a screen becomes visible when printed.
- Fill the frame with the subject. You can crop in the editor, but cropping throws away pixels — better to start close.
- Check the top of the image. The camera cutout sits in the top corner. Faces placed there get cut.
- Use the preview. The editor shows exactly what will be printed before you pay. If it looks soft in the preview, it will be soft on the case.

What if I do not know their phone model?
You need it — each case is made for one specific model. The easiest way to find out without spoiling the surprise is to look at the back of their phone, or check the model name in Settings. Asking someone close to them usually works better than guessing.
Can I put more than one photo on a case?
Yes. The editor has layouts for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 photos. For a gift, one strong photo or a grid of three to four usually looks best — beyond six, each image becomes too small to read.
Can I add a name, a date or a message?
Yes. You can add text along with the photo, or use text alone. Short works better than long — a name, initials, or a date rather than a sentence.
Will it fit their exact phone?
Yes, provided you choose the right model. Every case is produced for one specific device, with camera cutouts and button openings matched to it. It is not a universal case.
Does a printed case still work with wireless charging?
The case does not add wireless charging to a phone. Compatibility depends on the phone, charger and alignment; a built-in magnetic ring is not advertised.
